3.注意开发信写作过程中语法和语气的应用 
从语法使用上来讲,我们通常喜欢主动式,并且会过多的出现第一人称。但是对于国外人而言,他们似乎更喜欢使用被动式表达,从而有效避免对第一人称的过多使用。因此,我们在写开发信的过程中,要尽量学习并模仿外国人的阅读和书写习惯,从而提升他们对邮件内容的心底认可程度。而且,因为是电子邮件,所以在书写上具有一定的固定模式,这使得整个邮件读起来显得干巴巴的。我们在写邮件时,要注意对委婉语气的应用,可以通过一些疑问语句的使用,将原有生硬的语气进行缓和,同时也可以委婉的表达出自己的一些请求。

1.切忌长篇大论 
长篇大论的邮件在表达上显得过于累赘,浪费阅读时间。这对于时间观念很强的外国人说,他们也懒得阅读,而且,有时候他们甚至会把这个邮件地址自动设置成为垃圾邮件,这无疑把潜在的合作可能已经扼杀在了摇篮中。 

2.注意邮件书写字体和颜色 
外贸开发信要切忌字体的夸张或奇形怪状,这不仅会使得邮件看起来十分混乱,还给人心理上带来很大的不舒服感。我们就使用常规化的邮件书写字体即可。同时,避免在一封邮件中出现多种字体颜色,看上去像彩虹一样。奇怪的字体、较花的字体颜色,这使得外贸开发信看起来十分不规范。很容易引起阅读者的反感,降低了他们深入阅读的欲望。 

3.慎用附件、图片以及URL链接
