于是如何找到值得信赖的中国卖家,就成了一门外国人都想掌握的学问。一起来看看,老外们在阿里巴巴上寻找供应商都会注意哪些事项!

一个想要在阿里巴巴上找到可靠供应商的外国人,第一步要学会的当然就是创建阿里巴巴的账号,这些老外们都会注意使用独立的Gmail账号进行注册。

老外们害怕被骗啊!所以在找供应商的时候,会对真实可靠的卖家进行层层筛选。所以“金牌卖家”和“金品诚企”这种门槛就成为了外国人判定企业可信度的标尺。金牌卖家“Gold Supplier”就是付费会员,是经过检查具有质量保证的卖家。

“金品诚企”在英文里是”Assessed Supplier”跟金牌卖家差不多一个意思,但是高一个档次。

金品诚企是进过质量检查,并且公司有经过全面审查确保合法性的企业。同时勾选“Gold Suppliers”和“Assessed Supplier”后的筛选出来的供应商一般可信度都很高了。

但是,即时这样,也不足以掉以轻心。毕竟网购深似海。所以,在付款方式上,老外们能用信用卡就不用Paypal,能用Paypal就不考虑其他任何付款方式。

挑选供应商

在首轮进行筛选过后,老外们会查看网页右边的供应商信息

YRS Icon: 供应商的年限,时间越长越好

Location: 供应商所在地,通常所在地为中国的产品价格最好

Transaction Level: 卖家这些年里成交了多少笔生意。订单量越多的供应商,越值得信赖。

Supplier Assessments

Response Time: 供应商平均的回复时间

Response Rate: 供应商对消息的回复率。也就是100条消息,供应商回复多少条的比例。

而在检查完上述一些列信息后,则是开始联系供应商,发询盘。这里附上两封外国人写的inquiries。

声称自己是公司员工,不是老板,方便打好关系后续谈合作

接着会老外一般会跟供应商要1样品,说是想看看这些商品在当地有没有市场。如果供应商不答应,就做罢。

那么,除了在阿里巴巴,老外们还会去哪里找供应商呢?

首先,当然是展会了。

和找采购商一样,外国人在找供应商的时候也很看重参展这个方法。毕竟真实性高。很多老外会选择直接到中国来参加展会,像是广交会、浙江义乌小商品博览会、华东进出口商品交易博览会都是国外比较出名的展会。而美国的话,大家可以到这个M+Expodatabase的网站去查。是一个专门查展会的网站。

然后大家还可以在Google或Facebook上进行搜索。另外,大家可以多加入一些Facebook的社群,很多老外们会在这里寻找供应商,只是很多Facebook社群都需要回答问题验证。

再者,国外的SaleHoo是一个专门查找供应商的目录。

目前拥有着8000+的优质低价供应商,以及超过160万的产品和品牌。SaleHoo官方会对供应商进行审核,所以信任有保障。

线上交易网站eTradeAsia.com

这个网站也是世界上最大的在线交易门户网站之一。拥有70万的会员用户以及上百万的商品。是一个比较小众的网站,但是外国人会常在这里寻找供应商。

生活商品类供应网站LightintheBox网

该网站上的商品直接来自供应商。他是一家全球性的线上零售平台,专营服装、小配件以及家具和园艺产品。虽然算不上正式的供应商目录,但是这里边也有很多供应商的联系方式,老外们会在这里找到供应商的联系方式。

MFG.com网

MFG网被誉为是制造业的Ebay“the eBay of manufacturing”。可以算得上是全球制造企业数据库。但是该网站只专注于重型机械产品。如齿轮、模具和零件。该网站由亚马逊首席执行官Jeff Bezos投资,基本上可信度很高。

最后还给大家推荐几个地域性比较强的网站。

印度的Indiamart.com是一个专注服装供应的网站,类似于alibaba和Aliexpress,只是比较小,但是也可以找到很多供应商。

Sqetch.co网,总部在荷兰。目前已经有超过1000家的供应商和制造商入驻。

美国的Makersrow网,直接将服装设计师与中小型工厂联系起来。主要是一些美国本地的厂家和供应商。
